In 2020, QLDC adopted a Reserve Management Plan (RMP) for the Domain. The RMP sets out the vision, objectives, and policies guiding use and development of the reserve. Key features include:
Support for equine uses, community events, and passive recreation
Provision for public toilets, shelters, and community clubrooms
Active transport connections and accessible pathways
Protection of the Domain's open, rural landscape character
Native revegetation and community tree planting
In recent years, underground electricity has been connected to the Domain, a water bore has been installed, and a water reticulation system put in place — providing a solid foundation for the long-term landscaping and development programme now underway.
